Nice old restaurant off the main road. Very popular due to the reasonable prices, but not really anything special. Some of the items on the menu are not actually available though, so ask before you enter.
The Plough is a small restaurant with a lovely interior reflecting the landscape of Lanzarote. There also wine racks featuring an extensive number of bottles.
Unusually each table initially has a bottle of wine on the table. The menu is relatively extensive featuring pasta, fish and neat dishes.
We did not have a table booked but we were accommodated on two occasions. Booking is definitely recommended at the height of the tourist season.
The food was delicious on both occasions and there is an extensive range of wines available.
There is music played at a level that is not too obtrusive but is contemporary pop music where I think traditional Spanish music would be appropriate for at least some of the time and would enhance the overall ambience.
Staff are very friendly. Thoroughly recommended.
Also das Essen ist wirklich gut. Hatten Lachs, Tunfisch, Hähnchen und Fisch des Tages. Alles ausreichend und gut zubereitet.
Die Kommentare hinsichtlich falscher Preise in der Karte (man wird aber bei Bestellung drauf hingewiesen) und der nicht inkludierten Mehrwertsteuer stimmen allerdings auch. Getränke daher auch recht teuer.
