Five of us had Sunday roast lunch here today and it was excellent all round. We all had roasts and the quality was top notch. Well cooked fresh vegetables and crisp roast potatoes, lean meat and generous proportions to the extent that only two of us had pudding - a lemon cheesecake and a butterscotch bread and butter pudding both of which were delicious. Even the teas were served on a nice little tray with vintage crockery and little chocolate mice on the side ! Coupled with a good choice on the menu, very pleasant service and an affable host this is a great place that offers very good value. Well done and thanks. Highly recommend.

We had lovely food and my husband had a beer which was fantastic. We were able to take the dog too! Delicious food and first class service!!

Always the best beer you have ever tried - and I would certainly recommend The Plough if, by any chance, you have never tried beer!

This must be the best village pub we have ever visited, for location, food ???? and drink I'll be amazed if they haven't won awards. It was if you had been invited round for dinner and been waited on hand and foot. It was an absolute pleasure to have visited your establishment.
We’ve eaten here several times when staying at the campsite down the road. Both on an evening & also Sunday lunches. Gene & Debbie are lovely & friendly and the food is always superb with great portions. They also do Bad Apple cider????????It’s a proper cosy village pub like they used to be. Booking recommended as they are only small but popular. They are also dog friendly.
We had a gorgeous meal here. Delicious home cooked food, generous portions, very good value for money. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The menu is wide ranging with of options for vegetarians and vegans too. Highly recommended.
