.The platform is located in a wonderful place, it is unique. I like the idea behind the breakfast names 'full fare' 'half fare' which seems to have been incorporated from its history. The food was lovely as well as the chocolate brownies. Service was amazing. Have a drive or walk to The Platform and take in a breath of fresh air from the food and scenery.
Great place to stop on a bike ride or walk great food and atmosphere. Warm inside and tables outside to relax with the hound.
It was really busy, so needed to sit outside. The food was lovely ???? and the staff were helpful. Good value for money is a pleasant setting but a little too busy x

Very busy at the cafe today as the warm sun was out in mid Feb. Ordered drinks and food for both of us. We were expecting a long wait but drinks arrived within 5 minutes and hot food delivered within 10 minutes afterward. Impressive service and food was very nice too. Will be back again. Keep up the good work.
Nice food, service was ok given how busy it was. Worth noting that it only has a very small seating area inside however there is seating available outside.
Drinks menu is decent, coffee is of a good standard and this is a nice stuff off either on the south Staffordshire railway walk or for breakfast or brunch.
I hate to do this guys but the service this morning was appalling, nowhere near up to what we have had before here.
I get you cook from fresh but to sit 45 mins through two drinks to be told that you had run out of mushrooms and had sent someone to the shop is really poor. This means that after all that time our order hadnt been started. If we had been told that we were going to wait this long we wouldn't have bothered. Surely if you are that far behind courtesy dictates that you at least give your customers some notice of this. It wouldn't have been so bad if the sandwiches were OK. Barely any tomato on the one and the other sat in a pool of egg yolk making them so soggy that they were impossible to pick up. Sorry but far from impressed.
