The perfect cafe that Heathfield needed! The Pink Cabbage is a lovely cafe with amazing food and drinks. I keep going back because the service and food is just so great! So beautiful inside and lovely garden to sit in on nice sunny days. The staff are always so kind, welcoming and helpful. The food always looks beautiful and tastes absolutely delicious!
We went here for breakfast. The decor is nice and light with a rustic feel. The food was what I would call "rustic posh" ???? There's no full English option, but the food we had was delicious. I had the Breakfast Stack, which was sausage patties, bacon and an egg sitting on top of rosemary potatoes. I would have loved the potatoes to be crispy but they were new potatoes and still tasty in their own right. It was a really lovely brunch. My wife had the Eggs Benedict and she thought the hollandaise was some of her favourite ever ????. We had a latte each and the coffee was some of the best available in my opinion - really good. We got an almond croissant (huge!) and slice of cake (more modestly sized but a decent slice) to go. Overall we were very impressed and will no doubt be back ????????
At the end of 'The Cuckoo Trail' in Heathfield, in what was the old station, the PCC offers a limited (which is good) but delicious and expertly-prepared brunch-style menu. Very good coffee and choice of beverages. There's a range of cakes and bakes. With friendly, helpful service, it's definitely worth a visit.
Me and my daughter came for coffee and cake. I asked for a gluten free bake. They said they usually have more but offered me the brownie which was vegan too. Absolutely delicious and very rich. My toddler ate all her chocolate cake loved every morsel! I look forward to coming back with more choice of cake that is gluten free. :) best cappuccino I have ever had out it was so silky and thick. Hats off you barista!

Had coffee and cake here yesterday. Three adults, two under ones, a buggy and a trike and the staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Lovely place and it was very busy.
Really pleasant and unique atmosphere. Lucy and co have made the most of this old station building to create in my opinion the best cafe/eatery in Heathfield. Excellent coffee but if you like it hot, make sure to ask.
Spent the weekend in Sussex as a break away from London and had brunch here, honestly the best brunch we’ve ever had and we have brunch out a lot in London! Will definitely come back :)
