This place is amazing! I got a Key Lime pie and an Apple Pie and loved both! I love the variety of pies available here as there are more than fruit pies here. I have yet to try the others, but plan to go back and check it all out. The great thing about The Pie Place, is they are open from 8AM to 8PM! I know of other bakeries in town that are only open one day out of the week or when you show up they don't have enough pies available and happy to turn business away. Stop in The Pie Place and give them a try!

I have to say...as a Chef, this place is AMAZING! The pies are all made from scratch and have Organic, non-gmo ingredients. It's not only delicious, but good for you!! The owner works very hard to accommodate her customer's needs, despite the fact that she can't find good employees who want to work. I give The Pie Place two thumbs up and a five-star rating!!
I tried this today (Tuesday) and wasn't impressed. I wanted the Pie Safe but they were closed. This place did not have fruit pies! The lady said you had to order ahead of time. I bought a piece of bacon quiche. I asked if it was fresh, she said it wasn't made today. They were closed Sunday and Monday. So 3 days old..... tastes like it.
Just tried this place out for the first time today and I’m not impressed at all. My friend and I ordered the chicken pot pie and it had such a strong lemon flavor it was so overwhelming and then to add to it the rosemary was even worse. We also ordered a chocolate pie figuring it would be homemade for the price but it seems to be a box mix of pudding. Very disappointing We spent almost $40 and wasn’t please at all.
I truly love this little diamond. I tried the spinach and artichoke quiche and it was phenomenal. I'm so glad my dad and I came here and I look forward to doing business for many years to come. I also recommend the loaded cauliflower and chicken pot pie. Prayers for your continued success Marylin
I’ve been waiting several months to get to Joplin and try some of the goodies at your store. Finally made it this weekend and it exceeded what I’d hoped!!! Since I live quite a ways away, I came home with 3 full size dessert pies, 8 scones, a Taco pie, a loaf of Cheddar Garlic bread and a couple big cookies! My roommates and I are enjoying every delicious bite and it will all soon be gone????!!
We live in Denver and none of us know of a place here that is comparable in quality of every item. If you live in the Joplin area you gotta try The Pie Place!!! Just plan on getting hooked!! An easy 5 Stars!!!
My husband and I went there last night and had the lasagna and taco pie, as well as some of the desserts. We ended up taking SEVERAL items home as it was ALL SOOO DELICIOUS! The place was immaculate and the service was warm and friendly!
Omg My husband went out with friends and brought me home some steak pie and shepherds pie. Delicious! Haven’t had a good meat pie since California. They called them pasties out there. Now I know where to go!????????
