Fantastic spot, great food, lovely staff
Visited on a sunny Saturday, friendly smiling girls served us a fabulous breakfast - (try the chicken burger with bacon and cheese!) - ice creams, cakes and coffee. We'll be back, even if it is 50 miles from home!
Useful stop when you’ve gone miles without finding a cafe. Good ok, staff friendly but outdoor only
Very pleasant picnic area with cafe that is open during the spring / summer seasons. Toilets are fairly basic, but the staff try to keep them clean. Food is great (try a bacon cob in the open air on a spring morning!). Quite a shock when the RAF are practicing low flying in the area. The only complaints I have are that in spring the noise of the nesting crows is loud & during late summer there are loads of bees & wasps around to pester you in the car park, but I guess thats just nature.
Great place to stop on the way to Skegness, had a coffee and sausage cob, lovely picnic seats and little walk round before we headed off.
Great little place... toilets were clean. Coffee was lovely
Had an impromptu stop off here after we'd been to Tattersall Lakes for wakeboarding. Portion sizes were huge! But we were hungry so all good. My daughter and I had burgers and my son had a cheeseburger which he said was pretty awesome. Lots of sauces to choose from and the option of fried onion which is always a must ???? Pretty good chocolate brownies too.
A great place for a halfway stop to Skegness on the bikes. Lovely burger bar. The toilet is a bit dirty but when you've gotta go you've gotta go!
Been coming to this spot for over 40 years. Came with my nan & gramps with their caravan R.i.p and my parents too with our caravan now mum has vascular dementia but I still bring my teenage daughters and my dad here on way to the East Coast. Food is hot and great smiles from the staff. Its great for stop off with caravans to have a personal needs break. Long live The Picnic Place❤
