Lovely place with prompt, friendly service. Unfortunately my steak wasn't great and no explanation or apology given until it was mentioned a second time. It would have been nice for a goodwill gesture to have been offered also. I would go back and try other dishes but unable to rate higher under the circumstances
We’ve had a lovely meal today, staff were brilliant and very attentive from start to finish, we had the Sunday menu, meals were hot , very fresh, and a good size, the whole establishment was very clean too, very happy and will re visit when in the area again, staying at plas isaf lodge retreat - lovely place! Great areas for walking dogs etc.. don’t ever stay at herons lake retreat, we stayed there before, an abysmal experience at best!
Not long reopened with new owners and chefs, and my Lord it was incredible! We loved the pub before for it's cosy features like the real fire and low ceilings, but now that food has gone up 10 levels, we'll definitely be using this as our place to bring family and friends to really impress them.
I had the lasagne, which was out of this world, but my husband had sole which was gorgeous and my Mother-in-law had chicken chaat which was without doubt, the best main meal.
We also had a double buggy which was accommodated for without making us feel like we were in anyone's way, and two tiny children who were entertained by people on tables nearby whilst we ate!
Such a friendly, gorgeous pub with unbelievably tasty food! Will definitely be visiting more often.

Really enjoyed eating at the Piccadilly Inn, the food was great, albeit a little on the small side (Sunday roast did not come with a Yorkshire pudding, not sure if it was supposed to have or not…).
The staff were great, the service on the whole was excellent.
Worth a trip!
We were a table of 10 including adults, young children and a baby. Food was amazing, service quick and friendly and decor and atmosphere also brilliant. We mostly had the Sunday roasts which were delicious, but the kids shepherds pies also brilliant and great value. Kids desserts delicious and also brilliant value. We will come again!
This Is a splendid place to eat. The food was absolutely delicious. The service from the staff was awesome, really polite and friendly. Very clean and establishment. 10/10. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!
Called in for a drink, didn’t eat but the menu looks fantastic, really fresh modern food all home cooked so will 100% be back to try out the exciting food. It’s a really nice place, the atmosphere was warm and friendly, the staff were so welcoming and attentive. The log fire was so cosy. Dogs are welcomed, which is lovely and they offer cute little dog treats and snacks for our favourite pooches!
