Recently taken on by new landlord & landlady, so there was limited menu of burgers only, but we were told that before we arrived so no issues there.
The landlord & landlady were so friendly & welcoming, the pub feels cosy, not a horrible, sterile plastic pub.
Food was tasty, nice selection of drinks, even opened the gate so we could access the top carpark easier in our camper van (which is flatter).
Wishing the owners every success in the future.
Didn’t have any food today but had some drinks with my boyfriend and we had the best time chatting to the landlord and landlady! Great atmosphere, so welcoming, left feeling so happy, couldn’t recommend them enough!
Really nice friendly pub with parking. Dog friendly which is a bonus! Beer garden is a good size. Burgers are really tasty! Good luck guys!
Great little place with fabulous food, we we're made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived, and also asked to a wear a face mask at the bar when ordering drinks which we respected. It was very busy so I would recommend phoning ahead to reserve a table, the staff are extremely professional and very friendly.
Good service, attentive enough without being intrusive. Succulent ploughman's platter for 2 enjoyed by me and my better half washed down with an ale and g & t. Sat out in their gorgeous beer garden.

Great varied menu choices, value for money and good Customer service. Will return for sure. (Hunters chicken and home made pie).
The food was absolutely incredible, I can't stop thinking about it! Great value too! Staff super attentive, nothing too much of an ask, even allowed us to use the carpark as a place to kip for the night in our van. Catch it on the right night and you'll be treated to some great local live music! Thanks so much to the team at the Pheasant - we will be back ????
Lovely pub in a great location with great views of the Mendips and surrounding area. Delicious traditional and excellent quality food (We chose a ploughman's lunch) which came at a good price and friendly service. Would thoroughly recommend
