The food there was amazing. The service great and very nice. It is out of the main Sonora crowd so when we got there in the late morning there weren't many people (however by the time we left it was picking up). The portions were great! And the dessert - donuts with ice cream and caramel - just mouth watering! Definitely worth stopping by!
What kind of steak salad has these tiny strips of steak? The kind of place that wants to take your money and maximize profit apparently. The steak was hidden and had to desperately search to find it. Just ridiculous. Definitely not recommended and not returning. Look elsewhere for a place to properly serve customers.
The food here was very good!! I ordered shrimp tacos and they came with battered shrimp, cabbage, tomato, cilantro and a chipotle sauce. My husband ordered the mushroom burger and enjoyed his food as well. Very tasty food. I would definitely come back!
Not a cozy dining spot for a quiet evening, to be sure. It's not the restaurant's fault that their clientele tends to be very, very loud, making it impossible to hold a conversation at your table without shouting. On the evening we went, there were a few large parties that appeared to suck up the attention of all the available staff, so the service was abysmal. The calamari ring appetizer was pretty tasty. The hamburgers were also good but small for the price - oddly enough we ordered both burgers medium, and one was cooked medium well while the other was medium rare. Go figure lol. The best thing were the french fries - thinly julienned and fried to limp yet crispy perfection. They were out of this world delicious! But tasty fries are not enough to bring me back. This was not my first time at the Peppery, but it will likely be my last.
The chefs don't seem to know the difference between well done and rare. Sent the tri tip back to be re-cooked and was still red in the center. Very disappointed. The wait staff were really slow. Understandable if busy, but it wasn't.
2nd time there seated our group of 30 riders, staff was great food for everyone's taste. Had a great time.
I got a savage Pastrami Pretzel Burger and it was amazing. The fries were cooked well, the tri tip was tender (though the bbq sauce was too sweet for my tastes). The Jalapeno poppers were fun, super crispy with nice spice. Would definitely go back. Special shout out to our server Delanie, she was awesome.
James made the best food ever! And Emily the waitress was absolutely fantastic! I'd definitely recommend! So so much wonderful food!
Also there's a black and white kitty that chills on the hill above the restaurant overseeing the operation.
