There are a few options nearby that are just as nice, with lower prices.
I do hope the owner that was rudely responding to past reviews has moved on. If so, we might pop in again as a treat every so often.
If the owner is still the same as the one arguing with customers in the review section, I definitely wouldn't return.
Lovely breakfast cafe.
Staffs are friendly and inside of cafe is very clean. I visited 3 times a week and always had a wonderful breakfast. Thank you for making a wonderful experience in Peacehaven!
Lovely little family run cafe, well known to locals. It was clear when we arrived most were regulars as the atmosphere was warm and relaxed.
We enjoyed a sunday roast and the fresh made desserts. Managed pictures of the dessert but the roast was eaten to quickly! Massive menus for the size of the place and very fair pricing.
The owners son even came and chatted with us for a bit (see picture) and the food was quick and very tasty. Lots of choice when it came to the roast and trimmings and the desserts were classic comfort food.
Learned today that they do take away to collect. Will be considering that the next rainy afternoon.
A really excellent cafe
I had the Full Monty, which was fantastic. The bubble & squeak was worthy of a special mention and it's one of my favourite things. Everything was really well cooked and the service was brilliant, despite it being Saturday morning and the cafe being full.
Definitely worth a visit.
Popped in here today just as we were passing through. Delightful little cafe, clean, super friendly, great menu and excellent food. Really enjoyed it. Will visit again.
