Nice place for a little break while visiting the dark hedges.
Good quiches and excellent coffee but the scones were a little bit too dry.
The staff is very friendly.
came here on a coach tour. Excellent food (I had a classic, tasty, peppery vegetable broth with warm wheaten bread and some butter, and a very indulgent millionaire's shortbread with maltesers) with very kind and pleasant service - I forgot eating utensils when I sat down having ordered and, despite being busy, the person who brought my soup offered to fetch me a "wee knife and spoon there". Such thoughtfulness despite being busy.
A small Cafe just around the dark hedges. Very neat and tidy cafe with coffee and food options. There is small gift shop also which list the number of souvenirs of dark hedges. They offer free Wi-Fi and toiletries, special mention to their toilet design.
A really nice cafe with a good selection of hot drinks and cakes. This is a great place to stop at when visiting the Dark Hedges either before or after you set off exploring.
Beautifully decorated and organized
Food is excellent
Many souvenirs to pick one is difficult
Man’s restroom is amazingly done from scraped Bear cans ☺️????????, salute to the brain behind it.
This is a small and cosy cafe very near to the Dark Hedges. We went to visit the Dark Hedges but the rain came suddenly so we decided to just stop by this cafe til the rain stops. The coffees and other drinks are good. We tried the brownie and pastries, they were alright. Overall worth to drop by if you would like a hot drink.
Came in with a tour on Aug. 22. The 2 ladies working immediately began shouting at everyone in a demanding tone to buy something before using the toilets. Everyone complied but the aggressiveness nature of the two women shouting at the customers was very off-putting. After I grabbed my order and was leaving the establishment, a new tour came and the ladies were very friendly and even let them use the facilities before ordering. I found this to be very strange and it left a black mark on my visit to Northern Ireland.
I will not likely come back and I would tell my friends to avoid this place as well.
I ordered a soup at £5.50 and it's been served to me with 2 cold slices of bread (as in cold from the fridge) and butter. It's the first time I got soup with un-toasted bread and I was ready to send it back but after seeing a never ending queue at the till I gave up. The staff is not able to keep up with the incoming and apparently with the basic kitchen practices either. This cafe could have such a great potential that is absolutely wasted instead. Such a pity. I hope the manager bothers reading the negative reviews every now and then as I am sure it could be a good food for thought ????
