This was our first place to eat on our vacation here in Destin. I ordered the Banana Pecan Crepes w/Bacon and eggs. As you can tell by the pic, the crepes were drowned in the sauce (although the sauce tasted good…it was too much for the thin crepes). The bacon was cooked perfectly and the eggs were okay. I gave my food a 4!
However my husband ordered a Omelette (chicken, peppers, onions and cheese), Strawberry Pancakes and Hash Browns. He loved his meal, he especially liked the pancakes as they were cooked with strawberries inside the pancake as well. He stated the omelette was cooked perfectly and tasted great. He gave his meal a 5.
I’d definitely order from here again but I’ll be picking something different.
The food was so good, I dug in right away and didn't grab a picture. The Bananas Foster French Toast did not disappoint. It had a perfect amount of pecans and sauce (also available with pancakes or waffles, but waitress said the french toast is most popular and her personal favorite). I added scrambled eggs and bacon on the side, and the eggs were light and fluffy. Hubby enjoyed the Bacon Lover's Pancakes. This place has a great range of breakfast and lunch options. It's hard to choose just one. For faster service, opt to eat at the bar.
The food here was great. The portion sizes were huge. If you leave hungry after eating it is your own fault. Everything our group had was amazing and well worth the price and wait to get in.
Best breakfast place in the town. Their pancakes were really yum. Must try their Atomic Bomblette. I replaced my meat with Chorizo. Done and Dusted. Check out this place if you are in Destin.
stopped in for breakfast while in Destin for vacation. and this is a great spot, we ordered the Shrimp omlette, happy face pancakes, Crepes. the food was delicious and very filling. also they have outdoor seating which was a plus
Good breakfast food, but definitely over hyped in my opinion. Service was good, and staff were kind. I was told there would be a 45min wait, but they got me seated in 25min.
Drinks I got were. Iced coffee, and PBJ whiskey. The coffee and PBJ Whiskey weren’t anything special. Not bad though don’t get me wrong. Food pictured is. The Breakfast Sampler, Steak Benedicts with toast, AND Bacon Infused Pancakes that were SUPPOSED to come with bacon and eggs. Honestly, though I’m not gonna lie I forgot about it until after I finished eating, and by then I was too full to bother. A lottt of food anyways, not trying to get chunky lol.
Kind of pricey for what it is though, not gonna lie. $72 + $10 tip.
While booking our trip to Destin, I was looking for a nice breakfast place to eat at & I saw this place and saw the name and had to come here because I love pancakes. The service was good. The menu had many options to choose from. I had the chocolate chip pancakes & my husband had the buttermilk pancakes. I had a hot cup of coffee as well. I feel the pancakes were a bit dense. Kind of hard to cut. Also they tasted dry no matter how much syrup I put on it. I was surprised because they look fluffy and easy to cut through. But they weren’t. I wouldn’t eat here again.
Really nice restaurant specializing in pancakes but does all breakfast very well. We had a ham and cheese omelet which came out steaming hot with tons of tasty ham bites and a side of sand dollar pancakes; the Blueberry Hill pancakes with the blueberry compote on the side. I added a side of scrambled eggs and link sausage. All super tasty! Sonya our server was a superstar showing lots of attention to all four of her tables plus us. My only ding is that pancake syrup was on the table and cold and pancakes this good should come with warm syrup.
