Cinnamon pancakes were great not overly sweet and didn't need syrup. Strawberry pancakes were also good. The pancakes themselves were not heavy but light and fluffy. The server was pleasant. Plenty of space but it fills up quickly. Lots of parking great location, many items on the menu to choose from
Looks like a cozy local restaurant. I was dissatisfied with the food, I would not go back. This experience was a waste of calories and money.
The potatoes and omelettes had an off taste.
I'm not sure if it's the oil/margarine they cook it with or what, but something was creating an off-putting taste which made it difficult to eat. (I covered it with hot sauce and tones of ketchup, and didn't even eat half of the meal).
The pancakes very mediocre, slightly underdone.
When the whole business name is 'the pancake', I'd expect to eat the best pancakes..
The food was delicious, it came out quickly, and portions were bigger than expected. Service left a lot to be desired. We felt rushed to leave from the second we walked in and it was not crowded. My child was never offered a drink, I felt like I had to pin the waitress down to place our complete order, she was always walking away.
We ordered apple pancakes, belgian waffle with scrambled eggs and bacon and a western omelet. The omelet has no cheese so remember to add because I didn't. We didn't enjoy the eggs it tasted like water because this time of season end of May ppl like wet eggs. We asked the manager to remove it off of our bill and the entire staff is very nice and friendly. Stop in for good hospitality!
Wow! Firstly I had never heard of this restaurant before, stumbled upon it because I was vacationing and boy am I happy I did! I have celiac disease, the fact that they offer two gluten free options is a dream come true! The waffle boats were to die for! You can’t tell they’re gluten free. They’re fluff and delicious! The staff are extremely friendly as well! Our waiter ( I wish I remembered his name ) was very kind and asked it we wanted our picture taken which was very thoughtful! Thank you so much to the staff at pancake house for memorable vacation dining experience :)! ( ps I went twice in a row, which I would have gone at the beginning of my trip I would have been there everyday! )
The Pancake Man is a quality breakfast place that may be as old as time, but their food tastes fresh and home-y. I love their skillets because they are everything I could ask for: breakfast potatoes, eggs, cheese, lots of veggies, and bacon (The Down Home Skillet). I'm usually stuffed, but I try to make room for their Belgian waffles or of course, the pancakes. I enjoy their cinnabon pancakes because they are pretty simple and not too sweet. You can't go wrong with the chocolate chip pancakes either. Be sure to check it out!
Everything was great but 5 stars would mean perfection. I got the Red, White and Blue French Toast and I asked the waitress if the French Toast was Brioche and she said yes. (She was a foreign waitress). It wasn't. It was actually like blueberry BREAD turned into "french toast". Fell apart to pieces the second you put a fork in it. I couldn't even pick up a piece without it falling to crumbs. Was alright but not what I was expecting at all. The Whole Wheat French Toast was really delicious and the pancakes were good too.
Being that this place has "Pancakes"in the name I thought that's what they'd really be known for, expecting to see every other table ordering them with sky high pancakes topped with all sorts of crazy things haha but no, pancakes were kind of simple. Good, simple, family style breakfast place.
We LOVE The Pancake Man! We go here for breakfast multiple times during our yearly Cape Cod vacation! The food is always so delicious, and even tho the line to get in is always long, the wait is never long!
