Lovely pub with very welcoming staff and delicious food. The quality of the food is great and the prices are affordable. 100% recommend !
Stopped for lunch after leaving St Michaels Mount. Warm and friendly greeting. Made to feel very welcome. Food home cooked and every meal was delicious. Couldn’t ask for more. Would give more stars if could. Definitely worth a stop if passing. We will stop again when next in the area
Sunday lunch here was insanely good, by far the best pub food I've had in years. Very good service too, attentive where needed but not over the top.

I've also seen reviews that say the building is fully wheelchair accessible, this is not strictly true, there is a tight turn and a step down through the front door but if you can't manage this they will open the extra bit on the conservatory door at the back for you no problem, this way in is fully level. The conservatory itself is very spacious but I wouldn't like to try and manoeuvre a larger electric chair or scooter through into the main building. Parking could also be an issue if you need to open your door wide, there are no disabled spaces.

We ate in beautiful outdoor space, and had the beef Sunday roast, Hake and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. It was all so flavourful and beautifully presented. Staff were also very friendly.
Welcoming and friendly staff with a fantastic menu. Food was absolutely perfect, cooked to a tee, tasty and excellent portions.
A must to visit but I'd recommend pre-booking as it's always busy; a very popular place.
Had a great evening meal here off a friend’s recommendation. Really nice to see two completely different vegetarian options on a daily changing menu. I had the gnocchi and my fiancée had the aubergine and both were absolutely fantastic! Initially we though the cheese course was a little small but it was more than enough. Really knowledgable staff and a great beer and wine selection!
We have just dined here for our wedding anniversary, Sunday lunch, and are on holiday from Staffordshire. The food was delicious ???? and the service we received was very good. We have booked dinner for later in the week. Stuart, Viv and Erin ❤
This was the best roast I’ve ever eaten. Everything about the meal was perfect.
We even turned up without a reservation and they squeezed us in quick. I’d give this place more stars if I could. Thank you!
