First time coming here with my family and was skeptical since it was dark inside and zero windows to be found, (typical bar). My waiter seated us immediately and was extremely attentive. The food was very good and the attention to detail is amazing for a pub. For example, we ordered a wedge salad which came in a chilled plate (detail 1), the lettuce was cold (detail 2) with dressing and real bacon bits (detail 3). I ordered the Chicken McShaunessey which was fried chicken that was lightly breaded and came in a brioche bun with a special dressing, very tasty. We would come back here again if we were in the area.
Love a good pub! Relaxed atmosphere,clean, service was good.
This place is great. The food was awesome. I had the baked scallops. It was packed but the waitress was super attentive. Loved the history. Had a great time! It is a great place for kids too. There is a kids menu. My daughter was definitely happy with the choices.
I had the BBQ Mac & Cheese. OMG! I Could only eat half the plate, it was so full. My wife had the Flatbread Pizza with chicken, broccoli and feta. She's having leftovers tonight too. ????????
The portions are huge, food is delicious and the staff are super friendly. It's often busy, but they do a great job getting everyone served.
Found this gem in our travels and couldn't wait to get back there. Food is just WOW, I love the Marry Me Chicken, it is superb!
We were on the surrounding area and found the pub on Google maps to have lunch at. The food was amazing and the portion surprisingly big. Too bad it's so out of the way or we'd definitely be back quite often! Recommend.
First time here and I will say this, AWESOME fish n chips the best I have ever had and I have had them all over New England I'll definitely will be going back soon to try other items on menu
