This place was pretty busy for a Friday morning and now I know why. The food here is delicious I ordered the oven baked Denver omelette with green chili. It was a very hefty omelette that filled me up it also came with 3 hotcakes which I shared with my wife. My wife ordered the Georgia pecan waffle and ended up getting a bacon waffle by accident. The server was able to correct the error and got my wife the correct dish which was nice. My daughter ordered smiley pancakes which was 3 pancakes with chocolate chips and whipped cream. We all enjoyed our food and had excellent service. The wait to be seated was about 20 minutes but was well worth the wait. I'm excited to go back and try their apple pancakes and the rest of the menu.
A friend recommended this place and we loved it. The breakfast is great. My husband has the green chili omelette and it was delicious. One thing we definitely recommend is that u reserve a table online and it was so fast to get there and get our table. We skipped the line since we had that setup already. The restroom was super clean too.
We are regulars at the Original Pancake House in Cincinnati. We love the menu, and have a favorite waitress there. They know us by name. This location is a little more updated. The portions are huge and delicious. Go hungry. I've tried almost everything on the menu in the last couple of years, and it's all delicious. Can't wait to be a regular here. My only complaint was that it seemed like we were forgotten for a few moments by our server, who waited on everyone around us but not paying attention to us.
I eat here most weekends and really enjoy it. Some things are amazing and other things are a bit of a miss but the service is always great. The apple pancake wasn't it for me but the egg nog french toast is a huge win. Great coffee and solid sides. Get on the waiting list before you arrive it can be kind of long at peak times.
Decent atmosphere and really enjoyable food. The service was great too. I do like this place and it would be great if I lived closer because I would be here more often.
Our favorite spot in town for breakfast, lots of savory options which most places lack. The bacon pancakes are to die for. Great sweet and salty balance. We sat out on the patio for a quieter table, which does have over head heaters for the colder mornings.
What a great little find in the middle of so many hotels and office buildings. Definitely recommend getting on the waitlist. It can be longer than an hour at times. The service is amazing. Prompt and friendly. The food is a gluttonous delight. Dutch babies and apple pancakes are the clear choice when here but everything else is tasty too.
Woke up in the mood for pancakes and finally made it to the OPH. It did not disappoint. Our server was excellent, hot coffee being poured well before my cup ever got to even half a cup and the food was all delicious. Definitely some of the best pancakes and atmosphere was cheery and all the staff were professional and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Will be returning in the future!
