I'm from Illinois. A friend of the owners highly recommended that I try the food here when I came to Colorado to visit my mom. I said sure and offered to write a review.
That was in June 2022 and my review is long overdue! ????
The atmosphere is amazing! You step inside and you feel like you have been transported to another place entirely! (I ❤️ New York!) It is a quaint family-owned, mom-and-pop type restaurant. The main room features a huge oven that they use to cook your food! There are some arcade games and signage that make it welcoming and unique.
The side room appears to be set up for fine dining in the evening, with a variety of wines available.
When we were there, it seemed like lunch was set up more for a grab-and-go type experience. We hit the end of lunch, but the family was gracious enough to let us sit at a table to enjoy our meal.
It was a delightful experience! I had the Stromboli lunch special. It was excellent! I had never had Stromboli with sauce on the side for dipping. Super yummy!
As we left, I also noticed fresh produce and seasonings being grown right outside the door in planters. What a great idea to keep meals fresh!
In my opinion, they would have excellent results if they were to do a food truck. Set it up with those select lunch menu items for a grab-and-go type meal!
It's a bit out of a drive, but I look forward to returning the next time I'm in Colorado! My mom feels better when she eats gluten-free, so I think next time we will plan to get the gluten-free pizza!

Cheesy Bread with sauce was pretty good. Liked the thin crust on "the best seller pizza", a little bit oily not enough mushrooms. Might have to try again, build my own. Cafeteria style boosters. One bathroom.
Loved stepping into this portal to New York and getting some legit NY style pizza. This place is great! And the tiramisu is excellent!
Stopped in for some lunch, staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. I ordered their lunch special: 2 slices and a drink. The pizza was hot and ready in a few minutes, crust was crispy, sauce flavorful, and a good cheese pull that pizza lovers want on the first bite. I’ll definitely be back again.
This place is great! The pizza was amazing. And the staff was wonderful as well. Will definitely be coming back.
I hate leaving bad reviews but this one is deserved. There were a total of 3 customers in the restaurant (including me) and It took 40 minutes to get a small square of lasagna from the kitchen to my table. Once I asked how much longer it would take to get my order, it was apparent that the waitress forgot to get the lasagna in the oven . She made the comment that dinner orders take longer and that the lasagna takes longer to heat all the way through because it was "so thick". She then proceeded to change her story and said "oh, and there were orders ahead of mine." Again, their were 2 other customers and they received their spaghetti and meat plate(s), ate it all, finished their drinks and left before I even asked how much longer? On to the good part.... The sauce was bubbly around the edges but the slice of cheese they placed on top of their "huge stack" (not) of lasagna was barely melting. As I suspected, I dug into the middle of the pasta and it was barely warm if not outright cold. I was so disgusted by their lack of caring, that I stood up and left the $20.00 plate of cold noodles on the table. There are way too many other choices nearby to settle for bad service and cold food. I won't be back.
I arrived from Florida for a vacation and wanted to try some authentic New York Pizza with my girlfriend. The atmosphere was amazing and my server was super kind and warming. Most importantly, the pizza was delicious and I am happy I made the trip here. Will definitely recommend it to anyone in the area!
Wow! Where has this Italian restaurant been all my life? I can honestly say that Original Pizza really has one of the best, if not THE best, pizza on the north side of Denver in the Broomfield/Westminster area. Really delicious and fresh baked pizza - we had the aptly-called Best Seller Pizza. The toppings are just great and really nails that NY-style crust, just right! Prices are decent and I LOVE family-owned, mom-and-pop "ristorantes" like this place. Has now become our favorite place for pizzas and good Italian fare. Tiramisu is literally Grandma's recipe. VERY highly recommended - drop everything and go now!
