Just fancied pie and chips .
Served by a boy sweeping the shop. Didn't even wash his hands , just to get home and see the pathetic box of chips. Scraping the barrel and burnt curry sauce . This place use to be beautiful, what a let down . Lost my custom
I'm staying locally for work for past 2 weeks, been here 3 times now, I always ask if the chips are fresh and low behold they are hard and dry as been sat for ages, nearly broke my teeth, should have learnt from the first time, its such an insult as I'd pay more for chips that aren't dry, I'm from Cornwall, shocking chips. Avoid I'm afraid as it's the fact they lie to your face. Despite being pleasantly served.
Missing out big time when hardly any chip shops this way!!
PS me and others are not interested in your boring excuse to my above complaint, take it or leave I do not care one bit.
The Only Way is Fish have supplied the food for our Camping & Caravanning Club Christmas party for the last couple of years and after reading a few reviews we were a bit anxious about ordering through them again for last Saturday but we need not have worried! They delivered over 40 portions of fish&chips, sausages & chips, saveloy & chips, pie & chips and chicken nuggets & chips bang on time and piping hot. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food so many thanks to The Only Way is Fish!
Opened my box of cheese chips to look like this !! I’m disappointed because I have been here many times before and the food was lovely but this time it was not. There was barely any chips in the box and the cheese wasn’t melted,I have got to say I am very disappointed.
Fish was cooked well, chips okay, lots of small crispy bits. But the man who served us seemed to have an attitude problem like he didn't want to be there. A course in customer relations wouldn't go amiss.

This chippy is our local and never disappoint, fantastic portion sizes and good value for money compared with some other chippys we have been to. Always have the cod which is always cooked perfectly- white and flaky.
2.50 for a peice of chicken that looks like dog food.
Embarrassing to call yourself a food vendor when your kicking out food like this.
Time was 3pm so can't even say it's been sat there all day.
Time to improve chaps
