Such a wonderful place for a family and friends celebration. Beautiful building- clean and comfortable with lovely hosts. Would definitely recommend for large groups
This is such a beautiful place, stunning location and just gorgeous surroundings. The owners are so kind and work so hard on the farm. We went for our first holiday after lock down and it was so lovely. There were fresh flowers in every room when we arrived and Julie the owner was there to meet us and to show us around. It was great for us a small family but would be amazing for big group stays or special occasions. There is games for children, Julie likes to show children around the farm which is nice. They have a peacock which is fun to see and the lambs are friendly. It was so quiet we were able to just relax completely inside and outside the barn.
The property is really spacious and great for a large family gathering. Not particularly clean, bedding and towels were old and worn. For not a lot of investment (less than £1k) the property could be refreshed and made to feel much better.
I stayed here with friends for a long weekend. I agree with some of the reviews that say some of the linen is a little tired. The rooms were spotlessly clean, however.
The only other request would be for more cooking and dishwasher capacity.
We have booked for next year.
Comfortable, spacious and cosy at the same time. Set in a beautiful village in a pretty valley, close to all the natural and cultural sites Dorset has to offer. The barn could probably do with a spring clean and the kitchen is missing a few bits and pieces, but overall a good stay.
A superb venue for a large family holiday and in a beautiful area of the country - so pretty. We were very well looked after.
Just spent a wonderful long weekend here with all the family. Fantastic accommodation, owners very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back and would recommend.
Beware, this lady cancelled us after taking another booking for the same dates. We booked pre covid. Now she is refusing to give us back all the money. Shameless.
