Went down there to see how the monthly "open jam" session and found it a really charming little pub. Icing on the cake is that they serve a good selection of decent ales including Trawlerboys and my personal favourite Timothy Taylor's Landlord. Will be back ????
This was my first visit to this pub.
What a lovely surprise, on a freezing Thursday afternoon.
A warm welcome, busy and music to sing along too.

Decent little watering hole. The selection of beers is mediocre. The beer gardens is nothing to brag about. However, the staff is friendly and efficient.
This Old Town Pub has been revamped and such a lovely place. Warm friendly Owners Kev&Tina. Clean and well presented stock of Ales and Spirits. Definitely worth a visit. The photos are the old pub. Will need to get some NEW ones.
Really good warm atmosphere in the Red House, great selection of drinks and a great wood burner to keep the chill away on a winters night.
The landlord and lady were very friendly, it's great to see the pub busy again.
Lovely warm colours with subdued lighting. Wood burning fire. A welcoming feeling and a long bar which seats many. A lot of thought has gone into this renovation and I will be back, besides the fact the beer was spot on!!

The place is nice inside, with a really nice garden out the back. It had the standard lagers and beers, which isn't what i like, hence only 4 stars
