One of Warwickshire's little gems, hiding in Flecknoe, lovely welcoming fire and friendly atmosphere. We enjoyed a well priced Sunday lunch today. Well worth a visit, not far from Daventry Road A425 and if you have one, dog friendly.
What a lovely experience; it's what a local pub should be.
We stopped at bridge 102 on the canal and one of the best decisions we made, such a friendly pub with an amazing welcome from the landlady and locals alike.
I don't like giving a 5 Star review as there is always something to improve on but I couldn't think how the whole experience could be better.
Wow what an experience we had.
Our party of 6 were holidaying on the canal and came across this gem owned by the lovely Linda.
She prepared 6 beautiful meals on her own to a very high standard and super quick along with delicious home made desserts.she wven offered to drive a member of our party to the canal as he has mobility issues.we had a wonderful experience .The pub is also very dog friendly.many thanks Linda.
This is such a great pub! Linda, the lady who runs it, is very warm and friendly and makes excellent pies which we always order whenever we go and are never disappointed. The choice of real ales is excellent too, and is very well kept. Would strongly recommend this pub.
This pub is superb in every way. Quality ales (Churchend and Phipps) that are always fresh and well kept. The food is astoundingly good! All homemade by Linda. Generous portions too! Best pie I've ever had. We never miss a couple of trips to The Old Olive Bush whenever we're moored in Flecknoe. Thank you Linda for your hard work and dedication and being so lovely! ????

Absolutely lovely place. We came here for an evening meal from the canal (the hill up to the pub is a little steep, at least it's downhill on the way back!!) and it did not disappoint at all. We were recommended this place by three people when asking where to eat and we can see why. Absolutely perfect service, the manager was the sweetest lady I've met in a long old time. The food was bloody brilliant! It was our last night on our rental boat, and this was the perfect way to end our holiday. Many, many thanks!!

The landlady is very welcoming and hospitable.
Didn't eat on this occasion, but guessing the food would be locally sourced and good.
Definitely recommend a visit.
