i ordered crawfish ettouffee, which was delicious, made with
very high quality ingrediants, and had excellent flavor, it arrived at my table almost hot enough to eat. :(

even though its clearly a bar, with pool tables and the like, it felt ok sitting alone at a table and eating dinner.

Excellent fried Catfish & Shrimp dinner. Very fresh, firm, Cajun seasoned fish served with crisped-to-perfection shrimp. An entree certainly worth repeating! P.s. their Street Corn is the ???? Atmosphere is warm and friendly; a cozy, home town feel. Prompt, smiling, and courteous service. A must visit when in the area!
This place was great until a couple brought a dog in and sat at the booth behind me. It didn't have service dog tags and stunk. When I left it tried to come to my 2 year old carrying her food. I feel they should have told the people the dog was too much..... I left earlier than planned shouldn't have to go pay for a good meal for it to be cut short over a smelly animal like that.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. See below...
Unfortunately, this is one of the worst dining experiences I have had in a long time.
We sat at the table for an hour and a half before our food arrived. When the food eventually arrived, it was all cold. Everything tasted and felt like it had been sitting under a heat light.
The one drink I ordered from the bar, an old-fashioned, was entirely watered down and tasted like orange jello.
To cap off the night, when we went to pay, it took another 30 minutes just to get the check, and then we had to bring the checks to the bar after repeated attempts to attract the server's attention.
This place is one of my Momas and my favorite places to go for lunch. Their service is always friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. I always get the shrimp avocado salad, and my moma gets the Reuben sandwich both taste amazing!! They also have good fried mushrooms and fried pickles!!
The reason for time low rating is it says a side and a salad right on the menu but then half of them don't get a salad. Can't even be honest with your menu sets the tone for everything else
Food was good, the Cajun fried pickles were awesome and so were the crawfish beignets for appetizers. I had the bbq wings which were sauced a bit heavy but still good. The setting was nice, although a few smokers came in toward the end of our visit which is expected since it is a bar and grill. Overall good experience will visit again.
Server was RUDE. I nearly almost walked out crying with the way I was treated. Not only was I treated rudely I was robbed too I ordered the catfish and shrimp yet only got catfish and when I asked if I could replace the hush puppies with an extra side of fry I was told no in the harshest tone!
