Cracking old real ale pub in the middle of Matlock Bath.
We missed the food, but appreciated the lovely beer, including the legendary Plum Porter.
Stopped here today for some food. We had a full English and a vegetation full English, both of which were delicious. The owner(?) apologised for the wait but we didn't really think it had been very long at all. We both really enjoyed the breakfast as you can see, there was nothing left. The price was great, just over £20 for the food and 2 pepsis. The owners were also very nice and chatty. Couldn't fault them at all, fully recommend.
Nice little pub with local ales. Ciders were nice as well.
Lovely little but. Food looks lovely but not ate anything in there yet. Go to matlock quite regularly and always pop in for a couple of pints.
Lovely food, big helpings, brilliant service, reasonable prices. Will certainly be back????
Absolutely perfect! Paul the owner is such a nice genuine guy. I've been going there on and off for years. The food is always ???? spot on everything is cooked so well. Really good variety of beers. Get there early and try a bloody good breakfast too!
Great place. Family friendly so so accommodating. Can't wait for my next visit.
Lovely little pub, nice selection of drinks. Chap behind the bar was a cracking fella ????????
Had the pleasure of calling in The Old Bank the other day with friends from our Walking Group. Made to feel at home straight away, lovely relaxing atmosphere and a great pint of Cask Ale before our Coach Journey home. Will definitely call in again next time we are in this lovely part of The Peak District. Cheers!
