Popped in for tea and had picked cheese on toast too which was really nice. Staff all friendly, we were seen too fairly quickly with the tea, but did have a bit of a wait as the place was nearly full, however a couple who came in 10 minutes after us were served their sandwiches before us. Will probably try again next time when it’s less busy . Also unfortunately there did appear to be a lack of Wi-Fi.
Wanted a classic fried breakfast and this place didn’t disappoint. It’s nothing fancy but it definitely does what it says on the tin, is reasonably priced and the service was quick and very welcoming. Would go again!
Best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in a long time and really nice staff. Ordered 4 sandwiches for takeaway. They still hot when I got home with them. Highly recommend. Cafe was full when we went in to order. Waited 30 minutes which was worth it. Definitely my go to from now on.
The best full English I think we’ve ever had, piping hot, really tasty, the service was fab, the staff are friendly and the cafe itself is really welcoming. Fully recommend getting yourself down there for some yummy food.
Popped in for some lunch. Friendly staff, great food and fantastic service. Definitely recommend, I had something small, but the roasts looked delicious too!
The belly buster was amazing and the quality was excellent. My one issue that I have is that for the price of almost £10. You should have at least 3 slices of bread and not just one as you might as well cook it at home and have extra slices. The staff was very nice and friendly. When a mistake happened with my husbands vegetarian breakfast they corrected it immediately. The cafe was clean tidy and I definitely recommend. The cafe should look in to a loyalty point scheme a free pot of tea when you have been in so many times. (just an idea).
Excellent breakfast, there's plenty of choice including 3 full English options that vary in size, all the usual drinks available, located in the centre of town, clean, tidy and Excellent service from the staff. Also does lunches. Would definitely visit again.
We went to The Old Bakery Cafe, partially from reviews, but also from recommendations. We were not disappointed at all. We had a rare treat for us, full English breakfast "The Full Up", and I can say it was the best cooked breakfast I have ever had. The staff were brilliant, efficient and seamless. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and the quality was excellent. Well done team top result in flavour town! We will be back.????
