We were there for Mother’s Day lunch.
Though we had no table booked, we had no issues getting table on arrival. Felt very welcomed and looked after by the staff. The meal and atmosphere were very affordable and authentic to UK pub.
Highly recommended and will go back when we are next that way.
I attended an engagement party at the weekend. The place was absolutely packed. I wasn't looking forward to the wait at the bar. BUT, I don't think I waited for more than a few minutes. The buffet that was put on (although I didn't eat anything), looked really good. Well done to The Oak.
A warm welcoming ambiance, Tony was so friendly and welcoming, very knowledgeable and helpful, fantastic food, loved the burger, we will definitely be back x
Stopped here on Saturday with the family for something to eat. Lemon chicken was super. The service was normal. The staff for great will definitely be back

Due to the lockdown it has been a long time since I've had a big roast dinner and a pint, as soon as I saw that The Oak had started delivering I thought I'd give it a go. Surprised with how big the meal was, very tasty, we had three meals, beef, roast belly pork and chicken, there was plenty of veg and roast potatoes, a giant yorkshire and pot of gravy. The pint was fantastic too. The best Sunday meal we have had in a long time. I will be doing this as a regular thing now.

Nice place to have a pint, listen to tunes on the jukebox, and shoot some pool.
