Best bar in the area - no doubt about that.
The bar staff were faultless, atmosphere was brilliant and the interior of the bar is great - so bright and modern, but with plenty of character and nods to the ship in the name. Excellent selection of beers on draught (Cruzcampo is now my favourite lager) and the verdita shot to go with the tequila was a unique treat!
One note to the owners - get new photos of the interior on Google Maps and any other sites you can be found! The bar looked like a nice wee find as it was, but the renovation has taken the place to a new level!

I didnt eat in here, I had a quick pint whilst my partner queued for fish and chips. And, by jingo, I am glad I did! A great pub full of life and plenty of drinks to choose from stretching from real ales to all types of whisky and gins. The golf was on the tv, and I was ready to settle in for the session. But I got pulled out by the Mrs. and I had to eat dinner.
We popped in here for few drinks on a wee overnight away.
Great wee place...was busy but staff where lovely...so was the cocktails! Will definitely be back .
Good pub with great location, pleasant staff, a bit tight quarters. Theres a couple seats outside and a smoking bigger seating across the road towards the harbor.

Visited from Bolton. Modernised since the last time I was in the area, much improved???? staff friendly???? locals are always friendly, great night visit. Very enjoyable and a big screen????????
