Thank you to the amazing staff who went out of their way to accommodate ten of us for Sunday lunch. We just turned up without prior notice and they couldn't do enough for us.
The food was wonderful. The roast dinners we all would recommend. You could tell the food was great because the kids went silent! We also stayed for pudding which was also a real treat.
The pub itself was warm and cosy. We were housed upstairs. The log burner was lit and we were all very comfortable and happy.
Thanks again from all of us. Recommended and we will return again in the future!
It’s one of those moments when you actually don’t want to leave a review as next time you go you won’t be able to get in!!! Great service, local pub atmosphere, huge choice of drinks and recently added local amazing food options. 10/10 in every respect.
Really nice little pub in town, small and cosy but friendly. Ales are a bit generic but boosted by local Jail Ale on cask, which is a most excellent pint. Family enjoyed the food in there too. Would definitely revisit next time we're down that way.

My husband, myself and our dog Barbara first visited this little gem of a pub back in September this year. We were made SO welcome that we popped in most evenings during our holiday.

A lovely, friendly pub with two fires (upstairs and down), great atmosphere, the nicest staff, dog friendly, good wine and beer selection and open 12-12 everyday! Our favourite place in Brixham for a Friday evening drink!
Popped in for a quiet drink after walking over from Paignton. Friendly welcome, cosy atmosphere and lucky to get a table near the log burner. Unfortunately they weren’t serving food in Jan, but we’ll definitely come back!
