This is a lovely friendly local pub. We were staying in Overbrook Barn ( reconm) and walked up the very steep hill to the New Inn. Nice decor, comfortable seating, very friendly stand and local customers. We all loved it
Lovely pub in a nice rural area just outside Buxton.
Very clean , pleasant and friendly.
Car park and seating at the back was a great sun spot to enjoy a cold Rattlers Pineapple Cider or 2.
Well worth a visit if you want a quiet drink with only the sound of the birds disturbing you :)
Lovely place , great staff , and a lovely pint or 2 ????
Cracking walkers welcome pub. Great beer, roaring fire, cosy new refit. Perfect.
They lie!! They are not the highest village pub in Britain! That honour lies with a small pub Scotland!! They should probably change their sign as the debate has long been settled.
Also they have unusual opening hours which deeply upsets me.
Great pub! Really nice inside, the landlady was very friendly and good to have a laugh with.
Will definitely be back.
Wonderful little village pub, it's the highest pub in Britain. Very friendly welcome. They don't do food here but do have a good selection of drinks. There's outside seating. They are muddy boots and dog friendly. Perfect for walkers, sightseers, and villagers.
Stopped off here for snacks and ice cream before our trek to Three Shires Head. Lovely little atmosphere, TV with football and lounge area too.
The staff are really friendly and welcoming, even getting our kids involved to help fetch the ice cream from the store.
No food service but they didnt have a problem with our kids eating the sandwiches we bought with us☺️
Would definitely recommend visiting before and after your hike. Lovely place.
