Me and my husband went tonight for a meal as thus place was recommended to us. We wasn't disappointed. Really lovely in all ways. We loved the decor ???? so quirky and interesting. Thank you
Visited recently for Sunday dinner after friends recommended the food so we were really looking forward to it. Ordered our food and the young guy serving us asked how we wanted our beef served, we asked for 2 rare/pink and 2 well done. When our food arrived all were well done and the waiter then told us “sorry they all come as we serve them” which is absolutely fine however, why ask how we wanted them in the first place? Soon as our plates were cleared we were then told we had to leave our table which surprised us as, our booking was for 3pm and it was only 4pm so we had only been at the table an hour and had 1 course! Again if we had been pre warned we only had a slot of an hour this would have been reasonable however there was no one else in the restaurant area, nor did we know we had a strict time slot. This also meant we couldn’t even order a dessert or coffee if we had wanted one! Food was nice but staff were very rude and unaccommodating so therefore wouldn’t return.

Fantastic refurb and brilliant pub. Great ales on tap & food menu is great.
Having been a regular to this pub for 10 years now, and seen many changes. The team here are first class. Fun, and friendly, the camaraderie that flows from the landlady and landlord through to the managers staff the customers is something needed in the pub trade. Other people may think I'm biased but that is why it is my regular with locals who are amazingly accommodating. Cannot fault. Those who negatively think they have a right to park in their carpark and go walking in the woods without asking permission or eating and drinking there should ask what if it was their business would they want a customer parking space taken.
Our first impressions were; lovely outdoor space, inside the atmosphere was friendly and warm and everywhere was very clean. The bar staff were welcoming and obliging. Beer was really good and the pub food tasty and plenty. We enjoyed a really good evening, a special shout out to Sue. Thank you!
A lovely friendly pub accepting of children and dogs. It has amazing decor, you notice something new wherever you look. Have been on a tour of the area and its local eateries. Food is of a high quality at a reasonable price and they know how to pour a decent pint unlike other pubs in the area. As a first time customer we were very impressed and most definitely be back
A pub with farming character, quirky but welcoming and pleasing. Make sure your hungry as Chef likes to give you a good feed. Oh boy, it's certainly that.
Wonderful well cooked local produce, fresh as the daisies. Beer is knowledgably well kept, which is a bonus. Lovely gardens too.
Strongly suggest you book ahead.
Worcestershire's best kept secret!
One if the few surviving proper Worcestershire pubs !
Good food and beer and nice people on both sides of the bar.
