Visited today for half a cider, a coffee and some scratchings. We were up the road looking to buy a car.
We decided to call in for a drink as we were waiting for the garage to sort the car for us.
Driving in to a spacious car park, Then went in, it was very welcoming.
Girls behind the bar were great, lovely welcoming smiles and the cost of what we had was fantastic.
We came from Bideford but would travel here again for a meal out and the great atmosphere.

Fabulous stop over, ended up staying 2nights, landlady and staff couldn't have been more helpful. Sunday lunch was delicious and Monday evenings meal scrumptious all homemade, and lovely wine. Great location for forest and 30 minute drive to Exmouth. Would highly recommend
Just popped in for a drink on a bike ride. Very friendly atmosphere and cosy seating areas. Great in the summer with large beer garden in rural setting.
Lovely bar area and friendly staff. Food was good and 3 out of the four of us really enjoyed it. The other was "ok"
The night we chose was pub quiz night and was very noisy which didn't help trying to have a conversation so we skipped desert and left early. Probably will go back but not on a quiz night.
Popped in to confirm Sunday lunch booking. Had a lovely cottage pie and a good pint of jail ale.
A great find with an extensive choice of gluten free dishes. Great value lunchtime offers and friendly staff. Will definitely return!
Lovely atmosphere and delicious food. Staff are lovely and very welcoming and helpful
Food was not the best. Watery and tasteless veg. Fish a little overcooked. Service and coffee was excellent.
