We had a Easter Sunday lunch with Zoe, Simone and Hannah at the nelson, and the food was outstanding. Food service was fast also we had no delays and huge range of sauces to go with food. Drinks service was fast and cheap. We had such a lovely day with the family and I would definitely recommend everyone to try the Sunday lunches here. Friendly and welcoming pub for family and children of all ages. Thank you Zoe and team! See you all soon.

Another visit to Nelson Cottage. What a lovely place to stay if you are visiting Ludlow. Jeff and Alison where as lovely this time and we where welcomed back like old friends. The view from our bedroom has a real country side feel. The house is nice and quite so you can enjoy a calm rest and relaxation. Looking forward to our next visit. Perfect Mr and Mrs L xx
Brilliant hosts with choice of three comfortable 1st floor bedrooms. Great breakfast. Easy 25min walk into Ludlow. Discounted 4 night stay on offer.
After being welcomed by Alison and being offered refreshments, coffee and cake was lovely. The cottage was immaculate throughout and the attention to detail was excellent such as Nescafé Gold, wine glasses and bottle opener in the room, cotton wool in the bathroom (brilliant as I’d forgotten mine). Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit salad, yoghurt and full English. Definitely highly recommended as nothing was too much trouble.
Very friendly locals, very friendly people indeed. Popped in when I went to Sainsbury's over the road and enjoyed a very nice beer while talking with everyone there.
