Great atmosphere with a friendly welcome. Had a little get together there with friends and was fab. Food was good to with a selection of small plates to share .

Awesome ambience, great setup, very friendly staff, superb food, a decent selection of drinks. An absolute hidden gem! Just head on up the small alley where the sign is!
There is parking nearby but not directly associated with the venue.
All of the food is great but, based on one vist (so far), the chicken bites, garlic mushrooms, loaded fries, fondue garlic flatbread, cheese and chilli bites are AWESOME. Be aware the kitchen closed fairly early when we were there (19.30) because it was very hot and there was live music (it normaly closes at 8 anyway though). Either way it's worth turning up early!!!
This place is a hidden gem. Book to avoid disappointment on the weekends.
Good food, great music/gigs, quiz night Thursday, outside seating area. 10/10
Fantastic bacon cob . prepared fresh had to wait a few minutes but nothing major .staff were friendly and very nice . would definitely recommend giving this place a visit you won't be disappointed. Ps. It even turns into a bar lol

Dec16th 2023 edit - As we wind the clock forward and beavertown has sold to the corporate Big lads. I've dropped in once or twice since. The service and the coziness is still there but as a craft drinker - I'm off the beaver. With so many local brews, a change is a good as a rest they say.
Just spent a most enjoyable evening here.Would highly recommend.Give it a try. I would be most surprised if you didn't enjoy it. It is tucked away but we'll worth looking for. We will certainly return.
