Easy 5 absolutely beautiful food defo coming back v v soon and a great friendly service ????
Really enjoyed my short visit here. Good choice of beer, the staff were friendly and the food looked great (although I didn't have time to sample it on this visit) will definitely be back. They have a great outdoor seating area which must be good in the summer.
Classy pub serving the Mowden and Cockerton areas. Kid and dog friendly with the array of usual drinks and a few regularly changing cask ales. Top notch pub food you need to hit up as well. Get yourself down The Mow, now!
Me and the wife went for ‘date night’, the staff were friendly and welcoming, very varied menu and the food and service was exceptional, definitely be back again ????
Visited The Mowden Pub today for Sunday lunch and was the best we’ve had. Would definitely recommend and the waitresses were lovely and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.
3 of us ate here midweek.We had booked a table which was just as well as the pub was full.
Lovely atmosphere,helpful staff & great food.The menu is varied including childrens meals.
Visited twice since the reopening. Great selection of beers,lagers.belly pork on black pudding mash wonderful stuff.sunday lunch today with mother very nice. choice of meats great loved it..well done all .. have booked again for next week..
Apologies for the late review.
We recently saw an advert for this place for New Years Eve, live band and buffet, and it looked interesting. So decided to go check it out and have a drink see if we liked it.
Within minutes of having a drink we had booked for new years eve, and already decided to come back for some food one day, as we saw the food coming out from the kitchen and it looked amazing.
Anyway on the 2nd visit we literally couldn't chose from the menu as everything sounded really nice, so we decided to get a load of starters and just experience what we could.
Wow, this place can cook food. The chef deserves a special mention here as evey single dish was cooked to perfection.
Ended up full to the rafters , so decided on the creme brulee and a couple of baileys hot chocolates to settle the stomachs ????.
I cannot recommend this place enough, and we will be going back on our Fridays off for sure.
