Absolutely amazing food but just the warning to everyone. Your steam bags come extremely large. They serve the food in large quantities on the all you can eat. Other than that it was just way too much food per person. Just a warning order small quantities at a time on your appetizers because they will fill you up before you get your main. Unfortunately you cannot take your leftover food home. I was told that they do donate the food to the homeless. I hope so because that is a lot of food to go to waste.
What a deal we found! We dined lunch at the Bayside location. We took grandparents and they enjoyed the meal.
We didn’t know how big the seafood boil was, so we ordered so much fried appetizers, soups and salads and got full before the main course came out.
Quality of shrimp cocktail was superb. It was firm and big. Salads and soups were good.
Fried oysters, lobster rolls were ok.
When the main seafood boil came, we almost passed out! Portion was huge!
We ordered one plain no salt flavor and one with garlic butter and mixed together. Otherwise it gets too salty.
We were very impressed with quality of seafood! Clams, mussels, calamari, crabs, shrimps.. everything was cooked firm inside the seafood boil!
We will definitely come back soon. Weekend gets busy, so weekday lunch would be the best time to dine.
we went on a saturday, hour and a half wait, which we expected. but TOTALLY WORTH THE WAIT. i took my dad to this place and boy is he a critic. but he loved it as well! it was all you can eat for 24.95 but you had to pay 5 dollars extra for the crab which is still reasonable. we got fried calamari, lobster rolls, fried pickles, lobster bisque, onion rings, crab ball, shrimp cocktail. all of it was good. totally worth the money! you get as much as you want! it really was a great place to go and now something we will definitely be doing once a month! oh wait drove an hour and change to get there to since we live in jersey!
I love every single one of their locations and I’ve been to them all. This latest location in Bayside is convenient with great staff, quick service, and super clean. I can’t think of anything negative.
Like all locations, they have great weekday deals and today just happened to be buy 1 pound of snow crab and get 1 pound free. I certainly took advantage
Great tasting Cajun style seafood boil at affordable prices.
Spent $35 per person on Friday night without ordering ayce, we got 70%full. Seafood sauce is too salty so I’ll recommend less salt when you order.
Soft shell crab and French fried and Calamari are very crispy.
Too many people on weekends so I’ll recommend you come earlier than you plan forgetting a seat
It was chicken in large bowl on the floor after we finished eating but the food was good and waitress watch us like Hawk wasn't feeling her manners at all, bathroom line was long I think tips shouldn't be add because mrs waitress will not got nothing but $5.00 or nothing
We enjoyed last luch buffet price on weekend since they are charging dinner price for weekend. You can get variety boiled seafood with corn and potatoes. Other sandwiches and finger food are delicious also. We missed icecream dessert on first time and make sure we did not miss on next time. Nice decoration with seafood themes.
Party of 2 Saturday evening. Discovered via TT review, wasn't the worst but also wouldn't go again, other places offer better service and food. For 2, total was $180 for AYCE, 3 cocktails, and 1 top shelf drink.
*spacious venue, 2 clean accessible bathrooms, free parking.
* bargain $1 cocktails, pretty strong.
* 15% tip automatically added - this should be clearly noted/disclosed on menu, at the front desk, and/or by hostess/server when seated - automatic tip should also not apply for parties under 6 - a tip is exactly that, a tip, automatically charging a % disguised as a tip is an added service fee that should be clearly disclosed upfront to patrons.
* understaffed and inattentive service, it was very busy and crowded, bad service is a combination of owner not staffing properly for peak hours/days and servers just not gaf about providing good service (probably because of tip being auto added) - had to follow-up several times with multiple different servers for items that were ordered but weren't brought out to the table - couple of examples, ordered garlic bread and they brought out 1 slice for 2 people, took forever for them to bring the 2nd slice, ordered lobster bisque and followed up with 3 servers before we finally got it (again, they brought 1 serving for 2 people, so we had to ask/wait again), 3 hour wait for table but was able to grab seats at bar instead of waiting.
* AYCE was decent, a lot of options (esp if they actually bring everything you order) seafood was fresh enough, sauces could be a lot better, a bit salty and oily.
