This B&B is great. It was very clean and there were a lot of lovely little touches. The couple running it were very friendly. The breakfast was great value at £5. It was cleaned daily and the towels were always clean. My only two quibbles were that the windows had no blinds or nets, and cars were parked directly outside our window. The other quibble was our room was next to the kitchen and we were woke up early by the noise… otherwise it would’ve had full marks. It was a good base for the whisky trail and it’s a 25 minute walk into Elgin where there’s lots of amenities and entertainment.
We stayed in this cosy little hotel for eight nights. We found the room and washroom facilities to be clean and tidy at all times. The dining room was spotlessly clean. We had breakfast, which was beautifully cooked and served, at our chosen time each day.
The owner done her best to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible at all times.
I highly recommend this hotel.
Great sized room, plenty of space for a pram, great host, breakfast was great as well. Bus stop outside to take you to town green space near by to enjoy the fresh air shopping and train station short walk away.
We had to visit Scotland for a hen do and while my wife and daughter had fun my son in law, grandson and myself stayed at the Milton. We found it to be a clean, Tidy and very welcoming. The management which consisted of husband and wife were very helpful and the room had all the things we wanted. The breakfast was cooked well and very tasty. I feel that they went out of there way to make our stay as pleasant as it could possibly be. Many Thanks again. And keep up the good work.
Lovely stop off for 2 nights b&b.
The parking is tight.
The breakfast more than adequate and no pressure to finish
It is tidy and nice place, a budget accommodation. Breakfast is very nice and they can cater to vegetarian needs. Rooms are aged and a bit unusual (toilet behind the curtain). Main worries are thin walls and squeaky floor. If you are a light sleeper, ask for room upstairs. Good for one or two day stay, a reasonable priced place in the area. The lady in charge of reception and breakfast was extremely nice and helpful.
Super friendly. Cosy room for three. Lovely place to stay about 20 min walk to centre where you can get all you need entertainment wise. Very clean and recommend for sraying. The local area has a huge variety of things to do. Plenty of gorgeouse locations to visit and explore beaches with caves and castles to see. Whiskey tours to enjoy. A lot more than i was expecting. This is a greatarea wich allows you to reach many places within a good day trip.
On the whole The Milton was clean and tidy.||You were offered cooked full English breakfast, which was very good and not too much on the plate , just enough. There were cereals and toast plus a variety of drinks.||The rooms were basic but clean , the showers were of a good size but lacked a little in pressure.||On the down side, parking is available at this property at the back but its very small and can be a bit of a problem, I would suggest parking opposite the property on the road.||Also the couple who run The Milton have a young child who woke us up early on our first night there. ||We were not too happy when asked on our second night there, when we would like our breakfast in the morning, when we gave the time to our host , he didn't disguised fact that he wasn't too keen on the time we had said, not very professional.
