A lunch stopover on our way through. Great pint of Butty, I had the Mill burger, best burger I've had in a long time, best chips ever, they were like butterfly cut and crunchy outer but soft inside. Coleslaw was purple and creamy. Girlfriend had the pulled pork pizza, she was amazed too at the flavours. Nice place to eat.
Lovely food, lovely staff. Would highly recommend dropping in, definitely worth checking out what is on the specials menu. Loaded fries were incredible.
Also if you head to the bar and say '#purplemoose' you get 1 free pint???? love that.
Super friendly barman and lovely food, the homemade buttermilk chicken was TATSY - perfect for a quick bite and a pint ✌️
Fantastic food. We had an amazing Karaoke evening on Saturday. Thankyou landlord and landlady plus staff for a brilliant evening. Will definitely be back!!

Just had a fabulous Sunday lunch, everything was fresh and freshly cooked. Meat was gorgeous. Highly recommend. Staff very friendly, nothing too much trouble.
This place is amazing!
Where it is based there really isn’t a lot around as it is rural. We were working in the area and fancied some pub lunch so we went to take a lot and it quickly became our everyday go to.
The landlord and his wife are friendly and make good conversation to make you feel at home
The food is very reasonably priced and is very good. We have ate a fair bit of the menu but the specials menu is the one to go for or the recommendations from the chef.
We will be sorry when our work in the area comes to an end, however we still have a little while yet! ????????
Excellent lovely pub/restaurant, friendly staff, food amazing, would definitely recommend, and will be returning, well done to all the staff
