The Melting Pot in Station Square was a different experience that was more unique than traditional dining. The restaurant was extremely busy! I would not say that staff were particularly welcoming, personable, or friendly but they did their job. The ambiance of the restaurant was relaxing with dimmed lighting and a candle burning at the table. Prices are higher than the quality received. I will say that the server didn't really explain the experience, as I was pretty much left to just figure it out with the cooking times on the back of the menu. They were a little stingy on the portion sizes of the appetizer, veggies, and dessert dippers. The server wasn't really around when needing to ask for more to finish the fondue. When the server didn't bring extra. You received a small bowl with a few extra pieces of bread. It kind of felt like begging for what you were overly already paying for. The food was good but plain and nothing spectacular about broccoli, potatoes, and mushrooms. Carrots, apples, celery, and bread. I am just not sure why this place is as expensive as it is! I guess you are paying for that "ambiance" or lack thereof! This place is one and DONE!
Its a beautiful restaurant. We went to celebrate my birthday. There's plenty of food so com prepared to eat. Cooking instructions could be a little clearer and it's dark inside and makes it hard to see. But overall it was a great experience. I would eat there again.
My name is Tracie and my husband and I just celebrated our 11th Anniversary! Our server Karina was amazing! She was so happy and bubbly the entire time we were there! She is so knowledgeable and was very attentive! She was making sure our experience was the best experience! We also got to meet Amanda! She was super sweet and wished us a Happy Anniversary and offered to take our picture! She even made our table look perfect with the rose petals and dessert! The service was impeccable and we will definitely be back!
Went here with my SO for a special occasion and chose the Thursdate special. I had a reservation and asked them to note our anniversary as I saw on Google reviews that a special dessert was given for anniversaries and birthdays. Even though our waiter acknowledged our anniversary, we received no such special dessert, which was very disappointing. Besides that, everything was fantastic. Our waiter was kind, patient and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 hours there and left full.
Everything was great. Definitely get the baked potato cheese. The wine and garlic seasoning was amazing! We had the "Bigger Night Out" and there was more than enough for both of us. The lobster tail had great flavor. The server was attentive and kind. Had the chocolate-covered strawberries at our table upon arrival, they were ripe and juicy! Just overall a great date night! Will be returning. One complaint, the veggies were cut way too thick, so we couldn't cook them in under 8 or so minutes. They need to be thinner. That's the only thing I would change.
They take reservations, and they have downstairs and upstairs seating. They also have a good sized menu to choose from. And it's a different experience cooking your own food at your table. A bit pricey but it is unique. Lots of people were here too, including younger kids. This was our second time here and I'm sure we'll do it again.
The food and experience was wonderful! Looking forward to going back soon! The sauces and the garlic and wine seasoning are so so good! We ordered from the Valentine's menu and it was amazing. The spirit free drink "The bees tea" was really tasty too. ????
More than a restaurant, it is an experience that includes great food. Our server Corina was great and helped with the menu since it had been a while since my last visit, thanks Corina. A beautiful establishment that is conveniently located offering a unique dining experience. I was there celebrating a family member's birthday, they brought out a piece of cake with candle on a beautifully decorated plate that accompanied the dessert portion of the meal......nice touch Melting Pot.
