Quality place this and I loved every minute. Friendly staff and friendly customers it was just an overall amazing place to be. Tidy place with an amazing menu great food. Clean toilets and I would say this is one of the best pubs in northallerton
This is a must see place at Christmas, the landlord has spent hours on decoration, a sparkling wonderland, friendly atmosphere
Good night into early hours on the Kareoke. All of our group enjoyed it.
Beautiful pub in a great location in Northallerton. I was a wee disappointed. I was looking for a place with good craic, a nice pint or two, and a bite of food. I got the pints and the food. Couldn't quite get the locals to engage. Food underwhelming (hair in sandwich)... Maybe it was just an off day.
The pub is ok needs updating. Prices for drinks expensive. Service poor. Staff are always smoking. Food good value but no ingredients mentioned for allergies. No room to swing a cat... stayed for karaoke. But they only pick who they think can sing, well thats not karaoke to me
Proper community pub with no frills you get what you see serving great real ales and lovely friendly staff and locals with a quirky rooftop garden.
My first time in this gem of a pub, the bar staff were really good and the locals couldn't have been more friendly. Mark, (the unofficial Duke box DJ on the night) is typical of the clientele here who make you feel instantly at ease, It's a quirky little place with small area's to sit down but that is what gives it its character and charm.My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening here and will certainly return the next time we're in Northallerton
Excellent pub! Visited Northallerton yesterday with family and made very welcome (with dog) to watch the end of Man U v Newcastle. Friendly atmosphere between rival supporters and landlady kindly provided water for dog which she lapped up before spilling the remains on carpet (for which she apologises profusely).
