Best KPortal Reviews

Lovely pub, nice staff. Needs a disabled toilet facility which the new landlady has noted. Dog friendly, with a clean water bowl. We used the function room which was perfect for us. Plenty of parking . Some comfortable arm chairs made it welcoming in the lounge bar. Not busy for a Saturday night which was surprising. Will go again.
Came for the steak night, the food was exceptional, home made chips steak cooked to perfection great value for money, only downside is I’d prefer a separate area for dogs, as not really appropriate in a restaurant other than that can’t rate this place enough
Just visited Marquis of Ormonde for a surprise birthday. Buffet food was very nice and would definitely go there again. Bar staff were very polite and efficient. Drinks seemed bit expensive one pint Doom and one medium size white wine £7.50.
Large car park, nice large patio area to front and covered smoking at rear. The whole place inside and out looks very crisp clean and well maintained.
I would recommend giving the place a visit. Gave 5 stars but did want to mark down because of prices of drinks but can't justify only giving this place 4 stars.
Blown away with the portion sizes and the quality and taste of the food was great.
This was for a 60th birthday, unfortunately we had some of the guests cancel due to the snow but it wasn’t an issue for the staff.
Great service and we are going back for Pie Night.
Only one thing is that with the Tea’s & Coffee’s, it would be nice to have fresh milk/cream and not UHT.
Thanks again for a lovely night.
Absolutely delicious, they don't skimp on portion size and quality of food was amazing.
Really impressed with the service. Would 100% recommend, especially in the week as it wasn't too busy. ????
Fantastic food, amazing service and a must go to place, I only came across this place on a walk but will definitely be returning
Food took 45 minutes to come. My husbands meal arrived 1st having opted for the bigger portion how disappointing the fish was not very big the chips were greasy and the peas were dry. When my homemade pizza arrived it looked liked a disaster on a wooden board and the dough was a little undercooked. The flavour wasn't much better so nota good experience had to eat when I got home.
Me and my wife shared a steak and cheese panini with a side order of onion rings which was cooked lovely.
Washed down with a pint of Guinness in the sun was ideal.
The pub outdoor seating area and especially inside was absolutely immaculate and very inviting.
