Do NOT sleep on this place. Every single bite I put into my mouth was like fireworks and all the happy sparkles I could possibly imagine going off at once. The flavor was truly perfect and balanced so that it wasn’t overwhelming. It was just right. Our server, Lindsey (spelling?), was so knowledgeable and friendly and accommodating. We will most definitely be back! And hopefully many times after that!
We got the samosas, garlic naan, regular naan, onion salad, butter chicken, channa masala, & beef palak. The samosas were good but not worth only 2/$7. The naan was pretty bland, even the garlic. & it got hard pretty quick after taking it from the foil. So I wouldn't get it again. The butter chicken was good but I think the chicken pieces are too thick & the flavor wasnt deep. The palak was good, I'd get it again. & the channa was good but I dont think the flavor was deep enough. The onion salad needed some type of flavor. I got 2 separate meals but they combined the rice together which I dont like because why assume we want to eat out the same tray. They also combined all the naan which I didnt like either. I would go back & try something else but it'll be awhile.
Mango Tree was an excellent choice for lunch today. Wait staff was super courteous and helpful with menu questions.

Absolutely loved the mango tree at 47th and Broadway!!! ???????? we got an appetizer, drinks, the tikki masala, and brownie dessert! Everything was so good. Yes a meal is “expensive” but is enough to share and we both got full. Bonus if you go Sunday-Thursday as that is when lots of stuff is 1/2 price from 2-5 and 8-10, as you can see by how inexpensive the bill is. Jason was our server/bartender and he was absolutely amazing, helped us navigate the whole process of being first time guests.
Great addition to South Wichita! Our meal and service were excellent. Our server, Jason, was fabulous and attentive. He timed our drinks and food perfectly and made sure we always had everything we needed. The Mango Chicken and Jalapeño Cheddar Naan were delicious and the Galab Jamon to finish off the meal were fantastic. Make sure to visit The Mango Tree and support this local business. You will not be disappointed.
Not only did my friends and I have an amazing culinary experience, the service was unmatched. We were first greeted by Jason who informed us it would be just a few minutes before our party of three was seated. His kind, welcoming demeanor instantly set the scene for how the rest of dinner would go. Our server was very knowledgable and patiently answered all of our questions in regards to the menu. Once our food came out we were met with mouthwatering aromas and the taste did not disappoint. Will definitely be coming back!
I have really been trying to make it to this restaurant for almost a month now and I sure am glad I decided to go tonight let me tell you what my waitress was Haley she was fairly new but she definitely knew the menu very well and was extremely friendly thank you and the food was out of this world oh my God no wonder they have restaurants all over it is some of the best Curry Indian food that I've had. They've really bought a touch of India to Kansas thank you....
After visiting four or five times and trying multiple menu items, I am consistently impressed with the amazing food and excellent service. I can tell the owner runs a tight ship, and the place is always clean. If you haven't tried The Mango Tree, you're missing out!
