I stumbled upon this place while trying to find a salon that was casual but yet, comfortable. For me, the really.."glamorous" type of salons werent my style because I'm not overly feminine myself. I tried Caddy shack before and it was awkward and disappointing. I was content on putting off any haircut after that experience.
Walking in was an eye opener because it's such an open area and different feeling than the usual salon. You have games and a pool table and can see every styling station. The staff was extremely friendly and sweet the entire time. You can tell other customers were happy to be there as well.
My stylist was Deanna and she was very sweet. She felt bad for not being talkative but we have those days and I'm a quiet person myself. She made sure I was okay with every step throughout the haircut since it was a decent amount I was removing.
Overall, I was extremely pleased and see myself returning a lot more. Thank you ladies!
Extremely disappointed with my visit. I made an appointment a week in advance and told them exactly what I wanted and the colors. When I arrived I showed up early and was told I had to wait, which was fine but the woman who told me I had to wait was extremely rude and seemed annoyed that she had to get up from her seat to tell me so. Twenty minutes after my scheduled appointment time, Deanna informed me that she was too busy to see me and left me in the hands of two inexperienced stylists. Deanna also informed me that they were out of purple (even though I requested the color a week ahead of time). The two girls were nice enough but seemed annoyed that they had to do my hair. When they were washing my hair they informed me they had a color depositing shampoo that would give me a temporary color until their new dye came in. I agreed but as they put it in my hair they were talking to each other about how they were also out of the purple shampoo so they took it upon themselves to mix hot pink and blue together without informing me. Once I was in the chair the two girls started to blow dry my hair but about halfway through one of them left and said she was going home. The other then told me that she didn’t have time to style my hair so she took my to the front counter where I paid $214 for cotton candy pink and blue hair when I asked for purple. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AT THIS SALON. They do not care about their clients.
I was very happy with the cut I got here when I decided to chop off about 6 inches of my hair. My experience with color a few days later was an entirely different story. I asked for balayage on my medium Brown hair to lighten it up a little and add a few peek a boo strands of pink. I even showed the stylist (owner) a photo of EXACTLY what I wanted. I walked out of the salon with almost my entire head bright pink with orange strands throughout and a couple of inches of brown roots. Not even close to what I asked for. To make matters worse, the bleaching process damaged my hair like I've never seen on my own hair, and I've had plenty of processes done to my hair over the years. But, none recently. I did not go back to try to allow the stylist to fix this atrocity, as I had then heard from others that she may make it worse in the process of attempting to correct it.
The color I asked for did not turn out the first time. I was asked to come back the next day, and they assured me that I was not going to leave their salon until I was happy. I wasn't aware that they were going to totally re-process my hair for a second time. I had faith in the Stylist that this time the color would turn out right but it's still didnt. I ended up with blisters in my head and a couple of bald spots because of the overprocessing and I do believe that I was overcharged especially since I left there not even getting the color I wanted. After about a week I tried to call back to explain how unhappy I was, no one even bothered to call me back. Now I have a color that I am very unhappy with, not to mention of course my hair breaking off, a burnt scalp, two bald spots I didn't have before. This cost me $250. I will not ever go back!!!!
Quick and professional. Got a trim from Deanna. In and out. Good price. Great job. I have long hair and she didnt take the liberty of just whacking at it and taking to much like past experiences. Definitely going back!
The music I could have done without , I love music just not my type. I think they specialize in color the blue , red , green etc. colors. My cut was not good but that wasn't the shops fault . My beautician was a sweet girl just didn't like her how she styles. Not my type of salon , if I want to play pool or games I'll do that at a game room.
Tam did an excellent job on a silk press, trim and deep conditioninrg on my natural 4 b/c hair. The results were amazing!!! Even after I washed my hair it was softer and much more manageable. Thanks Tam
Asked for ombré. I have platinum hair now and a straight line across with the blonde. My hair is completely fried and their is nothing I can do. She did not listen to a single thing I had asked for. She didn't even put ANY protectant in my hair. And even after damaging my hair she put a hot blow drying and a straighter on top of my hair. Not suggested. I am very VERY upset with how my hair turned out. Still had to pay full price and everything. Completely ruined my hair.
