Went in here on a Saturday afternoon with my wife and daughter, looking for food. A very unfriendly, even hostile welcome. The bar staff literally walked away as I tried to speak, and we were stared at by the customers until we left. We are an interracial couple, and there were no other brown faces in the whole pub. Very much felt like "a local pub, for local people."
Plenty of more friendly, pleasant pubs in the vicinity.
This is a lovely pub with a live band every Thursday night. The price of the drinks is very reasonable. The food is prepared by a Michelin star chef. Staff are friendly. Great craic. Highly recommend this establishment

Grab the Malaysian pop up while you can. It's absolutely stunning. Goreng and Rengdeng are not to be missed. Packed with flavour and love. Some gourmet stuff for sure. Great pint of Guinness as well.
Lovely little pub with a great atmosphere and live music. Staff were so friendly. There was a fab band called Sasha and the Lights playing the evening I attended and the atmosphere was electric everyone got involved singing along and dancing. What a vibe! Drink prices are decent as well.
Really nice establishment, beer selection could be better tho.
Place could do with a lick of paint, some new furniture and not sure about the "smoking shelter" out the back but thank God I don't smoke.
Clientele wise, they seem like a very sociable bunch. Not sure if anyone has a job though, and a few look related to each other #twins
Went here to try the Malaysian food courtesy of Janda and WOW! Small and varied menu, we tried three dishes all of which were delicious which bodes well for the rest of the menu ????
Bar staff were really friendly and helpful, and bonus points for live music from various bands.
Love it! We'll be back ????
