I arrived @ about 11:30am. I was told to wait 2-5 mins so they can restock…Once they were making my crepe it went fast. None of their bottled drinks were cold. The counter by the napkins was dirty and they were out of knives and told me to get one over on the other side of the counter—next to their competitor. I realize maybe I arrived just after a lunch rush, but there were 3-4 people behind the crepe counter. As for the food…the ham & swiss crepe included pump cheese you’d have on stadium nachos…which I don’t think it needed. I really doubt I’ll come back here.
False advertising. Their menu says sweet crepes are served with whipped cream and powdered sugar, but my crepe ended up being dry dough with a very minimal amount of icing. Tasted like eating dry bread.
So full disclosure, the location I visited was inside the airport in Denver, CO. With that being said, I enjoyed my Hazelnut crepe with fresh bananas. The portion size was just right and each crepe is prepared at the time you order. The price was a little high but what food inside the airport terminal is not expensive. Definitely would go again to try one of their savory crepes!
Is it the best crepe you’re ever going to have? Definitely not. But it’s nice to have a different option at the Denver airport especially if you like crepes. I got the chocolate banana and added strawberries.
Great customer service experience and the crepes looked good but I got the ice cream sundae. For $4 they give you a mountain of froyo and your choice of toppings. The hot fudge was great and though not the best ice cream ever, for the price given it’s in the airport and quality, I was very impressed!
Not sure what type of”cheese” they use on the crepes, but it is not good. Sort of like liquid fake American cheese. Maybe nacho cheese? Can’t really tell. The breakfast sandwich had maple bacon and “spicy mayo” that was rather pink. The sweet bacon and “spicy mayo” was a very odd combo. Bun was falling apart. Totally overpriced (even for an airport) for the quality of food you receive. Employees were friendly enough. We ate as much as we could stand since we paid almost $30 and the rest went in the trash.
Mixed feeling about this place. After walking past it many times, finally stopped in today and tried the banana chocolate crepe. Unfortunately this was the worst crepe I have had. Way overcooked, too thin with holes in it, and minimal flavor. That said, after piling chocolate syrup, banana, and heavy whip topping, the overall dish was good. A bit sickening (too much syrup and whip topping) but tasty.
Nobody is going to accuse this place of being farm-to-table, but the quickly make generous servings of some tasty and hearty crepes and is good for a quick savory or sweet bite in between flights. The do use canned cheese on some of their recipes, but since I like canned cheese on occasion, I didn't mind.
