Best KPortal Reviews
The food was delicious, with large portions. The employees were very professional and friendly. The waitress who handled our larger party was awesome!
Just a great place with great food and great service. I knocked down one star for atmosphere as it does not have as much charm as the old location. We eat here at least once a month.
Been coming here since my high school days growing up nearby when it was the old location. Decided to meet up with some high school buddies to catch up while I was in town. Sat outside on the patio since the weather was perfect and they had a band setting up. These people were talented and had some great takes on rock classics, even taking on Amy Winehouse. The service was a little slow, but we were in no rush and enjoyed a few hours of reliving our Funwoody days. We got appetizers of bread sticks and fries before I ordered my Big Daddy. This is a huge cheesesteak that I knew I would be taking the second half home for lunch the next day. The only thing I should have done was upgrade from chips to another side.
On my way back to Murfreesboro, TN, I popped in for lunch. The Italian hoagie was delicious. It's just one of my stops when I'm in Atlanta.
Great little sandwich shop that you can tell is worth their reputation. Pulled into the parking lot and all 25+ spots were occupied.
The 10 inch Cheesesteak was well portioned and even better with the addition of jalapeños and great fries.
Quick service for a lunch stop too
My wife and I had always wanted to try this spot as we've both heard good things. We were in the area with our pup for a vet visit and decided to just do takeout but they welcomed our little gal and us to sit on the patio. One of the servers even brought her fresh water. I didn't catch our server's name but he was a very nice young man and new the menu well which helps a lot when you're trying a new place. I highly recommend the creamy Italian dip with chips. My wife had the regular Philly and I had a chicken Philly. Both of us loved the meal and again I can't express how nice the staff is. Whoever the owner/manager is knows how to run a restaurant. We're so looking forward to going back. Thanks!
Been coming here for years and it is one of my faves. However, food pricing has increased dramatically in the past couple years - a medium steak and cheese now $14 and any "protein" salad is $15 or more. Food is great but no longer inexpensive.
The restaurant is pretty nice inside and the food tastes good, but I’ve noticed they’re stingy on their portions. I ordered the 10 inch cheesesteak and found myself tearing excess bread off because of the lack of meat. Pretty disappointing for a $14 sandwich.
