If you are wanting crab legs that are warm and delicious, don't come here. They are only served cold. I can't eat crab legs myself but my mom and sister did and they were mediocre at best. The food I preferred was lo mein was cold and the food options were low. They had food but it seemed old or cold. Good thing they had a hibachi, so I was able to get some hot fresh lo mein. For $30 a person, I honestly would just avoid the place all together and find another option, somewhere else....
The Luxe buffet, once bustling with weekday lines pre-COVID, now appears forlorn in the near-empty Westminster mall. The weekends see a resurgence of customers drawn by the allure of lobster. The shift from real plates to disposable Styrofoam and plastic utensils hints at cost-cutting measures, a noticeable departure from its former ambiance.
While the food selection remains decent, it lacks the visual appeal that once made it a go-to buffet. The taste is palatable but fails to elicit the excitement of the past. In essence, it has transformed into a budget-friendly Chinese buffet, a far cry from its former status as a standout dining destination.
We have visited this place several times, including Saturday's night. We were disappointed with the seafood offerings as the lobster legs and crab legs lacked freshness and tenderness. The BBQ section had no meat available. It seems like the overall quality of the restaurant may be declining.
I visited this place last year and had a good experience, so I decided to return! However, this time, overall experience was okay. We arrived around 8 pm, and it seemed like the restaurant was closing as employees were already cleaning. All the noise from cleaning and sweeping the floor created an uncomfortable atmosphere for us to enjoy our meal, so we left early. Food was good last time but since we came in late, food was quite stale. Additionally, they switched all utensils into plastic and disposable utensils, which is ehh…

!!!Updated Review!! this was 4 years ago fellas!!---> Better than other buffets it's worth paying a few bucks more for better quality food! Weekends is more expensive only because they serve lobster!????????????????????------> This is the real experience on January 13, 2024 I'm very disappointed the quality of the food is very very poor!! The seafood, chicken, pasta, the shrimp well pretty much all the Food is just very old and taste gross!! ???? it's really expensive for such low quality no wonder it was really empty for being a Saturday...save your money go somewhere else!!!
The food was low quality Hot food was Cold and you are served on stirafoam plates and plastic utensils!! I was ???? shocked ! It was Lunch 12:30 Thursday Do not Recommend at all $20 plus tip a waist. The Bathroom was very nice but not worth $20 to use. The pork ribs in the photo shows it was raw with red blood next to the bone.GROSS!!
The food was good but not $32 a person good. For sushi there was a decent selection but the rest was lacking especially dessert selection. With that being said the value brings it really to a $15-20 range buffet. Even at $20 the Asia buffet at the Buena Park mall has a larger selection of food to choose from. I honestly came because saw in previous pics that they served lobster tails but server advised me they no longer do this.
