Exactly what you’re looking for in a Chinese takeaway- really tasty food, 5* hygiene rating, quick service and good price! We ordered food for 2 people for tea which came to just less than £10pp. Food was ready within 10 minutes of ordering on a busy Saturday night in the middle of summer! Do note there isn’t much space inside to wait so on a rainy day we would recommend preordering or bring an umbrella to wait outside! Also remember it’s cash only!
Hmmmmm.... I came here many years ago and had such an amazing Chicken Curry; alas it’s nothing like that anymore, change of Chef I fear... still... not a bad experience at all. Pretty standard Chinese food (unlike my visit many years ago). Like all take aways it’s “incredibly overpriced”
The best chop suey ever very tasty value for money excellent all round great service ate from here 4 nights running was that good highly recommended
Our third time in Ambleside and our third takeaway from Lucky Dragon. Superb as always. Placed order by phone, ready on time when I arrived to collect. Delicious food. Reasonable pricing. Strongly recommend stir fry pork with ginger and pineapple. We'll be back.
Tried to call in, and was out on hold for 5mins and then the guy cut the call without warning. Turns out he cut the call because the closest time for collection would be 8pm (2hrs away) and he didn't want to inform us of that. Quite lousy for a collection only 'restaurant'.
Had two takeaways so far in my 7 days stay just across the road at the brilliant thorneyfield guest house B+B .Best take away ever. B+B/ Take away combi go well together. Well done both
Best take away around. Always plenty of veg in dishes. Worth driving to.
I ordered a couple of portions of salt and pepper chips here and they were great. Very generous portions and the chips were nice and crispy with lots of flavor. Will definitely call in here again. Please note that they only accept cash, so come prepared.
