First time back since the remodel and the passing of Mr Hoffman. Always loved this bar and though it was remodeled, it still has the same feel. Now it's just seems bigger and more accommodating.
You can run into a guy outside who will tell you baby pigeons aren't real and albinos are going extinct. 2nd time running into him there, 10/10 would recommend.
One of my favorite places to travel across county to visit. However, it is definitely different without Nick but super cool to be WOMAN and former employee OWNED!!!!

I came here for the past two nights in a row and i came here on my 21st birthday and now tonight Wednesday night its a different bartender and she wants to say she cant give me service at the bar she cant accept my id lmao im not coming here again thats for sure ill take my business elsewhere to the other 20 bars in kankakee area that accepts my ID didnt wait 21 years to be denied service when i have a valid ID present????????
Eh, not pool table, crowded seating arrangement, very dark. I saw they had a venue for live music, so maybe I just showed up on an off day, (8 o clock Friday night) not much attention showed by the bartender, but I did run into a couple decent patrons
Amazing venue! Awesome staff. Maureen's jello shots are to die for. Owner is an awesome man. And they get the greatest bands there! Just went to my 30th or so show there and I am so happy I went. It was awesome. Thanks Looney Bin for being my go to bar!
It's has great service and drink prices. Also has some of the best entertainment around this area period and just really love this place I'm looking forward to the next time! And the owner Nick is so cool and makes sure everything is running smoothly and that his guests are well taken care of. Thanks Nick for providing such a great place to enjoy I adore you completely ????
