Best KPortal Reviews
Beautiful eclectic cafe/ bar with live music events. In a stunning old converted loom mill in the heart of Helmshore, Lancashire near to local walks such as the stunning Calf Hey Reservoir and the local land mark of Musbury Tor. Lovely food and great atmosphere. Can highly recommend for an evenings entertainment and a bite to eat coffee in the day♥️
Nice little find.
Located on the top road in helmshore within the old mill across from the textile museum.
The food is simple but nice, a good selection of drinks, the décor is cool and it's pretty big and spacious in side.
Also, very dog friendly too.
Popped in here for breakfast. Received a warm welcome from a very helpful young man. Sat and enjoyed a coffee whilst glancing over some very interesting artwork focuses on the local countryside. I have to admit to feeling very down prior to the arrival of my coffee which perked me up.
On arrival if my BLT the world grew even brighter. So.much so I took a photo to place here. It was beautifully presented the salad was crisp and it was accompanied by a small dish of mayo..The cost was less than i had expected which again lifted my spirits. Thought I'll just check out the toilets whilst I am here. They did not fail to please. The seating area is spacious and dog friendly visitors can relax whilst dogs enjoy a treat from one of the jars placed about water bowls
also on hand.
The bill was very reasonable and the whole experience made me want to return and bring friends along.
Went there with a large group to play ukulele, not to dine, hence can't comment on food. Bar service was fine. Plenty of space, good atmosphere. Parking across and on road although many spaces at the textile museum nearby. Dog friendly.
A great new venue, it seems to be a slightly older crowd and lots of kids. Lovely atmosphere. Will try the food next time
I've not eaten here so can't rate the food. What a welcome addition to the Helmshore community The Loom has a really friendly vibe, with an industrial look on the inside. Staff are young and for the most part are keen to help and serve. There is background music and a nice buzz about the place particularly on a weekend. Well worth a visit.
We used to come here a lot when the cafe was part of the gift shop. First time in the new pub/cafe. Great food and superb value for money. Staff very friendly and I wish them success in the new venture.
We only had a drink, so we cannot comment on the food. Very popular and very busy. One member of staff behind the bar was not interested in serving, but the staff member who did eventually serve us was pleasant. It was loud, so it was not a venue for a quiet chat. Having said that, it's ok. I will go again during the day so we can try some food and support local business. Hope the venue does well.
