Great coffee and service. Staff were very friendly. The carrot cake was lovely, full of fruit and plenty of frosting and a great portion size. The atmosphere was social but calm and friendly. Will definitely return in future.
Out for a walk along the town walls and it was torrential rain, this cafe provided the perfect respite from the weather! Cosily tucked in the nook of the bridge, this small but lovely cafe had delicious cakes and tea. Perfect stop off for any day!

Lovely view over the river on a sunny day. Beautiful homemade scones and large selection of cakes. Coffee is strong.
Only improvement would be service. Friendly but very chaotic. The staff didn’t seem to know where the food or drinks were going and would come ask you if it was yours. Maybe table numbers?

Lovely sandwiches, cakes and coffee. Highly recommended.
Stopped for a coffee and a cake while walking the town walls, staff were great as all seats were taken outside they got us a table and chairs out even though they had a queue of people. Coffee and cake were nice, great little spot by the river.
We stopped here for food having wandered along the city ramparts.
Lovely food, lovely coffee and the location was perfect. All of the staff members were lovely, very courteous, and only to willing to assist. Perfect and will definitely stop by again.
