We are moving to Shefford this month and went to view the property before exchanging.
My daughter and I went into the Loft to grab some lunch. They are a friendly bunch, and the food is delicious, we sat outside and watched the world go by. Go grab something to eat or drink and enjoy the sunshine. We will be back when we move.

I always liked the loft. But ever since it’s been taken over it’s even better. The menu is far more varied and the food is brilliant. The portion sizes are more than adequate and that makes it good value for money.
The owner and staff were asking for suggestions which just goes to show how much they care about improving an already nice place to eat.
Nice little cafe with a nice menu. One of the waitresses didn't smile once the whole time which was a little sad.
The food was a good price and very nice.
I would definitely come back again.
Toliets could do with a good clean.
Under new ownership and has reopened in the last couple of weeks after being closed for refurbishment.
The face lift is lovely and it’s now a more traditional British cafe with a Turkish twist.
The fry ups are fantastic, they also do a great selection of wraps, paninis and other cafe food. Very good coffee too. Has the bonus of being open on a Sunday which is very handy in Shefford.
Came in today and the food was amazing. I was really impressed with the service and had the full English that was great. Everyone was happy and looked after us as well. Would definitely come back and highly recommend.
I went to the loft alone for breakfast this morning. After waiting over half an hour for a meal I discovered that my order had been lost. I didn't have time to wait any longer, so I was given a refund and staff were very apologetic.
Not the end of the world, but obviously not ideal. This was my second visit since the refurb. The first was okay, but the experience today has really left me missing the previous owners.
